The notes
I tried to keep the info intact while shortening and simplifying the text. I used line breaks, bullet points and highlights in bold to make the material more readable. I also added a glossary.md file including the definitions the search engine on the ISTQB page provides. These are concepts listed at the beginning of each chapter, plus a few of my own additions separately.
Can I use?
exams based on v3.1
The ISTQB page states that exams based on the previous version (v3.1) are available until 9th May 2024 (exams in English) and 9th November 2024 (non-English exams).
exams based on v4.0
One of the major ISTQB course providers in my country (Hungary) says they expect to be able to start running exams based on v4.0 from this autumn but that’s to be seen. The original plans of rolling it out earlier this year never materialized. We shall see.
